Boxster stereo into 924 ?

Guys
I want to get my Wife one of the Porsche branded CD/Radio sets as fitted to the Boxster for her 924. Question-do they use standard DIN connectors or would I need to modify the wiring?

Not sure about your exact swap, but I fitted a new sat nav stereo in my 1991 928 and had to modify/change the wiring. If the 924 is 80's technology and the Boxster is 90's technology, I don't think it will be straight swap. It is easy to change the wiring over though, so you should go for it. I hope that helps. :D

You might have to fit an ISO connector to the 924's wiring. This is, assuming that the Boxster stereo uses the ISO connector!
