Hi to you all, my name is Dave and live in north Kent.
I bought my teenage dream car about 5 months ago my first Porsche a 911SC cabriolet 1983. she is a fantastic car in great condition and came with good history.
In November last year on the way back from the classic car show at the NEC the gearbox locked up, i only had her for 2 months but now she's in my garage up on stands with the engine out and the gearbox at a gearbox repairers, it seems 2nd syncro broke up and has done a lot of damage, 2nd & 3rd gear sets, shifting ring and sliding hub. Had some good news last week i should have the box back by the end of next week, so i've set myself till the end of Feb to have her back on the road.
Sorry to start my first listing off with my bad news but i was gutted when it happened but now im really excited about getting her back on the road soon and enjoying her again.
