The 944 is currently with CVI & is SDP only, no commuting. I currently pay around £200PA for just me on it for 3k miles.

Whilst I was looking on compare the meerkats (I don't used Confused as they support Brake, a hateful anti motoring outfit) the other day as the 944 renewal was coming up I punched the details in & lo & behold got a quote of £126 including 2 other drivers & including commuting! Just rang Performancedirect.co.uk & signed up with english speaking & I assume based staff.
Just checked on their website & got the same quote.

Although I don't intend flogging it in & out the office it is useful to have a back up that I can commute in if needed & my previous policies had excluded this, as well as being lots more money.

Thought I'd try a quote altho' not due until August, paying £336 with CVI at moment 3k miles, agreed value and breakdown cover etc, quotes vary from the cheapest at £882 to an amazing £9327, thats with an excess of £600 as well, think I'll be staying with CVI then

I also went via Performance Direct. It came to £160 comprehensive.
I am 31, I have a few points (ahem, from a while ago), it's not my main vehicle, so SDP only, and the same 3000 mile limit.
Mind you, my 944 is old enough to be on a lovely classic policy.

Try RH insurance for a classic policy, I pay £176 f.c. for my 944t. Limited mileage 5k, agreed value, european breakdown cover and parts in storage cover & no alarm required.

Yup got a Sergei last year, just ordered one for my mum & will get another for the Pork insurance.

Just to add this is a classic policy with Highway 3k limit, doesn't earn no claims.

Hi

Just insured my 944 S2 for £220 Full Comp with 6k Miles limit. They also give you a fixed price of your car.

Insurance company is Footman James. Give it a go. Best I found..
