I got mine from Camskill and had them fitted by my local garage who do tyre fitting. I went for the TOYO's. Working out great so far. :D

Hi Mark
i have Falken 245.45.16s at the moment but they are N.L.A for some reason which is a pity as i have them on the front as well but 225.50s
The best quote i could get fitted was £146.00 for continenals and £149.00 for bridgestones that was from a local tyre dept thats for rears so £500.00  seems excessive to me.
Cheers and happy new year Grahame :D

Hi Mark :)

£500 IS RIDICULOUS...lol

I use Falkens and would cost around £300 for rears or £200 for fronts for my 18 inch wheels... I use ProTyre....

All the best Brett :)

That quote is excessive, I paid that for a pair of 295/40 18's.

I got my TOYOS from mytyres.co.uk
Current price for Toyo PROXES T1-R 245/45 ZR16 94W with rim protection ridge £115.40 each delivered (Fitting obviously extra!)
Same size as the new rears I will be ordering in the next few months having had new fronts last year 225/50 ZR16 92W @ £169.80 the pair :) (now £103.90 each prices went up quite a lot last year! :( )

If your car is a daily driver and you are not after a performance tyre, this size on flebay for 54.02 ( item 190566593342 )
Toyo R888 from 92.50 ( 225/50 16)
I save money by searching online and giving the local garage a tenner each for fitting.
if your driving hard or trackdays R888's are about the best.

Can't understand why you would want to fit 50 profile if 45 is the size you need :? ?
Toyo PROXES T1-R 245/45 ZR16 94W (see earlier post) have been on my Turbo for 6 years (need to replacing these Rears this year due to age), they have worn well 12000miles & still good tread. Only had 2 track days use mind (100 miles)
