The recycling of the RAV4 is definately not an option and I was told by my gaffer to order a new car.

My lease allowance is £600 a month which equates to a car retailing at about £25-£27k.

I'm test driving an Alfa GT Blackline on Wednesday, advice on any other interesting cars I should be looking at appreciated?

My budget will allow an Audi TT but it's not really me

A TT is even more of a tarts car than a RAV 4!

Got enough for a Brera? Or a 159 Q4?

We just spent months searching for a one-year-old WRX STI for our company fleet, because the new model has been hit so hard with the ugly stick.

Found one eventually, but it’s in champagne with gold alloys. All because a deer ran out in front of our existing lovely black one.

Brera 2.4 JTD, Audi A5 1.8T, 350 Z, top of the range X Type (being very heavilly discounted at the moment) or a left field choice Chrysler 300C, baby bentley, top of the range S-Max 2.5 Titanium ?

Thanks for the sensible replies.

Other Alfa's a possibility if the GT doesn't make me smile.

I drove a colleagues TT today, I must say they are very nice to drive and are plented through the corners.

I fancy the TATA Tipper wagon, that would be cool turning up to the dump on a Sunday.

I had a go in a mates TT, quite impressed with it.

His has a 'Sports pack' or something like that. It has a kevlar roof, bonnet and other lighter bits

A mate took me out for a spin in the loan Boxster he's got - his 3.2 was in a prang so they've lent him a a 57 plate 3.4.

It was almost as nice as my '86 924s....

Yes but with a brace of pork already in the garage wouldn't somthing that actually carried somthing to the dump like a 159 SW, 300C Touring or Subaru Forester 2.5T XT/Legacy Spec B. (the standard 2.5 XT is half a second faster to 60 than a standard WRX. 6.0-6.5 auto express)

The Forester is monumentally ugly though.

In the eye of the beholder, did one bite you as a kid Tony, I have had one for nearly 10 years, 150 000 miles, utterly reliable, Impreza performance and wardrobe shifting capability, apart from Impreza running and insurance costs (Gp 17) an SUV with the same 0-60 time as a 944 Turbo, perfect Q car and in 2006 was polled as the car the police were least likely to stop in the auto express survey. When I get around to swapping her it will be for that other beauty, the Cayenne (turbo) :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
