I'm selling my car due to buying a new house and needing the extra funds to help with the deposit.

It's a 1989 S2 Cabriolet in black with linen leather interior. I have a folder containing all bar one old MOT and a lot of receipts and invoices along with the original service booked with some stamps in. Car has covered 99k and is in really good condition, both myself and the previous owner have kept the car garaged and I've only ever used it in during the summer. I've owned the car for 18 months and its had no expense spared on it.

Spec is as follows;
8 Way electric seats
Electric Roof
Electric Windows
Electric Mirrors
Clubsport steering wheel
Alpine head unit complete with bluetooth and Ipod cable (fitted in the glove box)
New belts, pump and rollers replaced in August 2010
New clutch replaced in September 2010
New torque beam replaced in 2010
Original D90 alloys were refurbished in January this year by Lepsons and new FK452's put on at the same time.
Promax chip fitted in march along with iridium spark plugs, K&N filter and new brake pads in March 2011
Dansk SS exhaust fitted in September 2011

I've also changed little things like new badge and heater fascia panel etc just to keep it in as good a condition as possible.Car will come complete with a second set of 16inch boxster alloys which I purchased off a tipec member again with FK452's on with a decent amount of tread on them.

The car is in really good condition and i'll post pictures up later this evening.

Looking for £4995 ono

If I have missed anything or you would like any further information please let me know.

A little annoying, as I just bought my girlfriend a black 944 S2 Cab on a j-Plate for £8K !!

Still it had 'only' covered 55k - however, if I had the money I could have one too!!

It looks great in the interior colours - too many Porsches have the wrong interior colours.

Why the K&N filter? Is there anything we should consider changing / upgrading on our cab?

Hope you find a good buyer for your lovely car - they are SO underrated!!!

Best

Paul

No reason for the K&N other than it needed to be changed and the specialist I use said to try it. The only other thing that I'd look at changing would be the suspension but I'm unsure if you're notice the benefits in the cabriolet.

It really is a great car and I know it will make someone a very happy owner. It's had all the big jobs done and it really is a steal at 5k.

Noticed over on PCGB that this is still for sale - quite surprised as even though not the favoured time to market a cab, it is very nice.

I know, I just had someone view it and comment on how tidy it was and was quite shocked at the size of the folder and than proceeded to offer £3500  . I know a deal has to be done but not that much.

So car is still for sale.

£3500 is a bit harsh! A dealer perhaps?

It may help a tiny bit if you also update your profile with your location.

Updated thanks. Should also add tax till March and MOT till may although I'll stick another year on it before sale.
