One night in a Hotel in Ashford-in-the-water. Derbyshire. We were broke. Had to live with my my mum for three years before we could scrape a deposit together for a mortgage! In fact the whole wedding cost £600. Reception was a bar snack in a local hotel! But were still married & still in love :D

We had a fortnight in Florida, a week in Orlando being kids, then a week in Clearwater being all romantic, awwww. :love3:

Hired a car too, a purple Crysler Neon. I was offered a RAV4, but I turned them down. No good for my street cred.

Our honeymoon was in a mobile home in the south of France. Drove the Alfa 75 all the way down in 2 days & had a fantastic time. We were around 3 miles from Paul Richard race circuit & 40 miles from Bandol which is where the true "South of France" starts. We have a video of the return run up through the mountains with the growling exhaust note of the Alfa in the background.

We had a week in Vienna. Tried to get there on the Orient Express but it was fully booked so we flew. I was only 21 but managed to get on most of the rides at the funfair in the Prater Park for the under 16 price :D

Two weeks here.

Caused an uproar by getting on an earlier transfer flight and arriving several hours early - the whole island seemed to know by the next day. The jeep we hired was knackered and could barely climb the mountain road to get into town.

Jim.

Went to France for my honeymoon with the Ex - but why, oh why, would anyone get married?

Now met Miss Right and anywhere with her is far better than my honeymoon with the Ex. :)

Had our reception in a room above a pub in Halesowen.Stayed a couple of hours then grabbed the remaining sandwiches etc and took off for Knebworth to see the Stones.Saw the last bit of Lynnyrd Skynnrd then 10cc and the Stones finally made it on stage about 01.30. Left about 03.30 and made our way up to Scotland and spent a week driving around up there in my Hillman Avenger. What a wedding night!!
