I dont blame him! Of all the shows to go to throughout the year that must be the worst of the lot.£31 to get two of you in plus the rip-off parking, plus the rip-off food, not to mention all the stalls trying to sell you overpriced goods! :( We find the noise along with the artificial lighting, the crowding etc. just too much,a very unpleasant and claustrophobic experience and there really isnt anything special about the exhibits that you cant see somewhere else if you pick your shows more carefully! :!: So er.......I wont be going!

I love the show and was mortified to learn a couple of days ago that I would have to miss it as on business trip.

Yes entry is pricey, but a whole day looking at fantastic and often rarely seen cars is the least of its charms. Chatting to the guys on our stand and PCGB is a pleasure, but equally you meet some great people and learn a lot about other marques on the otherr stands. We all have a common a real passion and love for our cars, no matter the model or marque and it's great to feel part of that.

I do like spannering so I could literally spend a day looking through the tool stands. You can find some bargains. If you're not into the diy then it's fun leafing through all the old brochus, ads and other memorabilia. Yes often priced with an eye to an enthusiast market, but you can just window shop!

Hope all of you going have as good a time as I've always had at NEC.

Depending on a few factors I may have some extra passes for the show this weekend.

If you're going to the show but haven't booked a ticket in advance please give me a call on arrival at the NEC before buying a ticket

If I have any passes available I will give them to the first to ring me.

If I don't know you I will ask to see a current Tipec membership card before handing over the passes so please make sure you have it with you

My mobile number is in the club magazine under Central region
