I could do the Sept dates, if the car is back to health. It will be nice to actually meet some people, rather than simply ask for assistance on the forum all the time.

Would be good for a meet up again! I even took all the scrap down to the scrappy this afternoon. This should help pay for all the sugary commestibles. I am sure there will be a space on the ramp if anyone wants to get a look under their car! Steves turbo is also there in the middle of getting its head and belst done although it may be back together before the 2nd of October. Got the cam box clean eventually today after 2 days steeping in degreaser to get rid of the baked on oil underneath so will get that fitted tomorrow possibly if the rain stops!

Is Rich coming? or have you created some sort of pet nickname for Jim?

BUMP!

Quick reminder that the Scottish 944 meet is this Sunday at Alasdair's (Sulzeruk) unit in Bonnybridge. The more the merrier! Mr Simkin (911) will be on general tea and patiserry duties and I will occasionally lift a spanner and throw it somewhere! Action will start around 8am.

Could be some ramp time available first come first served! Jobs for the ramp are currently:

My car - rear drop links and maybe front strut changeover
Steve (Scrichton) - Suspension change, kangaroo fault find (FPR or damper says Al)

Jobs on the ground:

My car - front strut brace
Mr Simkin - Headlight surgery

All charges are reasonable!

Look forward to seeing everyone

Stuart

I may try and make this but don't know where the venue is - can someone help?

Cheers

Steve

If you came via Abington, then Biggar towards the south side of Edinburgh I could meet you at the city bypass and you could follow me through. However, I'd be leaving sharp in the morning......

Venue is Bonnybridge, nr Falkirk.

I'll bring my camera and flashes, so if anyone is up for a wee shoot later in the day we can head out and I'll no doubt be leaning out of car windows at speeds that I really shouldn't be.

Just bought a whole load of new glass, so we can get some great stuff!

Steven

Hi Steve L, I will be heading up to Bonnybridge for about 9.00, I pressume you will come up M74, then join M73, then M80 north, I could meet you at next Services on M80 and you can follow me from there, only about 10 minutes.

Alternatively, if Frenchy is coming you could arrange to meet him and come up in convoy.

Cheers Alan.

Schrichton, that would be great to do a Photoshoot, anyone any good locations we could have a run out to?

Alan.

Also in my work the medical media department have just got a HP 60x40 10 colour printer that I have the ability to run prints at cost on, so anything of note we can have some beautiful poster sized prints. I think A0 is coming just shy of £40 on HP super gloss paper.

Will talk to my boss, as long as I don't create a bottle neck for clinical work I'm sure he'll be fine with it.

Steven

Anyone interested in my photos .. I just did a shoot on Friday for Jeffery Campbell shoes, in conjunction with one of their dealers in Scotland. (not cars, or anything of interest to us ... but the models!) Gives you an idea of the fact I'm not the beginner with expensive camera type.
