Member at Malvern

Had a great day today with whole family at Malvern Classic - we met up with the great Laurence Meredith there!

There was a guy with a sensational guards red 924 - looked factory fresh. He has spent past 4 years restoring the car which had been left to die for 7 years!

Car sported a TIPEC sticker. Forget the guy's name (getting old you see) But he told me he just hadn't managed to get along to any club meets (I know that's rich coming from me) but was Central member. He is booked to exhibit at Shugborough but as an individual, so I urged him to come and find us there on club display. Hope he makes Westmead one evening - you would all love to see his 924.

Good morning, I was their with my 280 Capri on the Capri Power stand. Had a great day and a lovely drive!
I took a pic of a 928 which was stunning, not sure about the colour, think it's dark blue.(sorry it seams strange to say it's stunning then I can't see what colour it is in the pic)

Yes that was my 928 Mark - thanks so much for your kind words about it. Official colour is Amazon Green Metallic but looks blue in many lights. If sun is shining it is a lovely emeraldy shade. If cloudy you would never describe as green! Bit of a chameleon colour.

The Capris put on a great show at Malvern. I have always thought the very last 280s (Brooklands?) look very sleek.
