 Post subject: Supercar Startup day at Beaulieu...

Hi All :)

I will be doing the Supercar Startup day at Beaulieu on the 29th August...

They have even created a mini dragstrip for Supercars to start and run a 365 metre straight course for the crowds...

I had a chat with them today and they "think" that drivers can safely get to 60 mph and then stop safely lol... basically its a standing 1/8 so I might just reach a little more than 60 :)

There is also a "Rev up" done with a Decibel meter, so I might have a chance with that as well :)

Be good to see any of you there....

Hi All :)

I did this today and to be honest it was a joke.. :(

They wouldnt let me run on their baby 200 metre strip as my car was "Modified" and their Insurance wouldnt allow it (even though they agreed to it in advance).... when I said most of the cars there were chipped or modified the health and safety guy said " oh are they, I dont know anything about cars" at that point I gave up.

Most of the day I just chatted to people and let their kids sit in the Race seat etc...

I seriously doubt I will go there again lol...
