Afternoon all, just a quick one here.
I am going to Spain in a few weeks in my 944S2.
All is well and the car is ready but someone asked me if I had ran through some injector cleaner yet.

Is this something I should do or a common thing?

I have not put any in this car in the 18 months I have owned her and she seems to run fine.

What does everybody think?

I have only used it when a car has felt a bit stuttery or when I know it has run low on fuel - in those few cases I have had good luck with Wynns one.

If it feels fine though I don't see why you should need to run it through.

It cant do any harm, I always pour a bottle in on a full tank of fuel before my run into the highlands and beyond (Orkney) from my home in Somerset, car always 'feels' better after it I can confirm. :)

Hi :)

The best Injection cleaner I know is usually trade only but you could ring around your local garages for it....

Its made by FORTE and called injection cleaner...one or two cans in your tank would do it....

All the best Brett :)

Hi :)

Instructions on can but I ususally use 2 cans to a FULL tank on mine yearly....depends on tank size though, although a bit extra wont harm anything...

All the best Brett :)
