Hello all

I have an issue which seems to be common, my oil pressure gauge will read max when the car is started, and does not move.

I have checked wires and changed the pressure switch still no joy, i have also swapped wires around.and given it all a good clean still no joy

I have given up on the stock gauge, and have purchased a new TIM oil pressure gauge, however i am unsure of part of the instructions, it says to connect the metal switch to the side off the engine, now i assume this should be to the oil level or temp sensor?, does anyone know where this is on a 86 S2?, apologies if i am talking rubbish, i am not that machanical.

Cheers in advance

John

Hello

The gauge reads zero when ignition off and straight to top when turned on :(

I thin k an external gauge is going to be the best bet, but just need to find where to plum it in :D
