Hi all just a quick line to say Hello. I am finally the proud owner of a 1986 2.5 944 Lux in Alpine White.I had to do a bit of lookin to get one that hopefully I won't have to do too much to in the near future [remember I said that ] I am looking forward to the shows that are coming up locally and have met a couple of my local Region guys who have already provided guidance and assitance, which was one of my main drivers for joining...for when things do go pearshaped.
I hope to catch up with many more of you in the future.

Ha ha, just realised I waved to you the other day at the level crossing outside Lanark. You passed Mike in his 928 at the roundabout further back, then came over the crossing to see me. Not many people see 2 928's within a couple of hundred yards. Car looked good as I passed. I hope you can make the monthly meeting next month.

Hi Lee. think I have worked it out..couldn't believe I had missed seeing 2 x 928's..could have been the mechanic taking it for a test spin...just had the tracking/balance done as it had a bit of shudder at 50-60 [had lost a weight strip]
gonna miss the next 2 x meetings due to various stuff but will make September. heading down to Mofatt on Sunday with the guys and really looking forward to it. hope they think the car looks good also, though it wont be moving and at a distance
hope to meet up and I will definately be looking out for you. also strugling to resize pictures to put them on the 'post yours here' pages any tips?.

It was a guy with a black hair. I seen you on Friday, coming out of Tesco and then in the high street with the kids in the car. I know it wasn't you now, due to the colour of hair. Car looks good. I drove through Carnwath on Sunday in my 944. I forgot how much fun the car was to drive. If I got another, I think it would be a turbo.

Yeah definaitly Ian from Gormleys, he did a good job, drives well now. due a service next [had all belts, tensioners, rollers done last month], will need to orginise that. then i can start looking for some doorcards that match the dash I will let you know what the guys think of the car post Sunday. Still looking out for you.
