..that's me not the 944. Just taken a tumble on my mountain bike and broke 3 ribs and injured my left thigh. Not gonna be able to drive any car for a few weeks. Maybe I'll take the drivers seat out and put it in front of the TV..

I blame cycling and keeping fit in general. The amount of people who have a heart attack jogging is unreal. All keep fit needs a health warning.

I hope you get better soon. Next time, take the car and not the bike. :D

Basically started doing it again for the same reason as yourself. Retired from competitive cycling some years back. Never hurt when I fell off back then... Luckily I didn't break any joints etc..

Lee: Never had any health probs when I was drinking & smoking. Only with medicines & health stuff...

I quit smoking, but the was a financial decision (golf membership and my football season ticket went too). All my visits to A&E over the last 19 years was due to 5 a side football injuries (I think?), so I gave that up too. My last stay in hospital was 20 years ago when I cut my finger off and they had to reattach it.

Make the most of not having to cut the grass and take care. :D

Hope you get over it soon. I crashed my bike on a steep hill (Ditchling Beacon) when I got two punctures at once.
Bet tomorrow won't be worth taking the 944 out as the london to Brighton Bike Ride will cause masses of traffic. Maybe I'll treat it to a wash :)

Always avoided going anywhere near Lon - Brighton ride. I'm sure it's good fun for thoae that don't normally cycle tho'... Found that the worst bike accidents are when you are going slow. Twice now I've broke something at about 5mph... Your weight is more 'dead' at slow speed.
