Well its 2pm & I just finished & even my 944 can't get to Gaydon in an hour. Unless plods asleep. No hope of that on Sunday afternoon. Good job it's at Gaydon & fairly rainproof as it's been pretty wet up here this morning. Should be nice & cool walking around. :)

I've not gone this year. Busy putting my engine back together instead.

You getting an engine off Alan for the 16 valve car? Next year you might have a choice of cars to take.

Playing around with the idea, one minute I really want it, the next minute I really want to concentrate on getting the lux done and back on the road. The S still has a load of rust that needs looking at which is helping to sway me towards the lux.

I'm not going to get there again.
Wanted to but 6 month baby means little time off.
Going for a long drive out to put some miles on the car.

Hope those that get there have a good time.

At least you're fit enough to take the car out this year, that must make you feel better. It does look like a good show this year, quite a few Scottish members set off this morning.

I'm not really supposed to drive it. Waiting on surgery on my back to relieve the pain but have got usde to working around the issues.
Several times I've thouught about selling the 944 but hope to be able to ge more joy out of it before it goes. Must try harder to get more fun out of the car as it is my only release at the moment.
Mustn't complain I do have a beautiful 6month old baby to play with this year

Your right, things could be worse. To be honest, the only real reason I can't go is my son is at a show @ Rockingham and it's not fair to leave my ill wife with my 15 year old narcoleptic daughter. The house would get burnt down or something. Things could be worse all round and I'm just grateful that they are not. I know what you mean about the car being the only release, I try and get as much driving in as possible. I even looked at a 996 turbo last week. :help: I figured that I could go further and get more miles in it??? She doesn't agree. It'll take time to convince her, either that or do what I done with the 928 and get it delivered in the drive and say it must have been a mistake.
