TIPEC SCOTLAND MINUTES
Neil Fraser and Alan Neilson welcomed all to tonight’s meeting, 19 bodies and 9 porker’s in the car park this evening. A warm welcome to new member Brendan Mullan from Glasgow with his stunning red 944 in the car park, welcome Brendan to the Scottish region. Stewart Gordon sends his apologies as he is on annual holidays and was unable to attend tonight’s meeting
Firstly it will be Thirlstane Show on Lauder (Scottish Borders) on the 5th of June,(This Sunday) meet details will be the Halfords Car Park at Stration, just of the Edinburgh City bypass at 08:30/ 09:00 depart. Peter Weston will be hosting this show as Alan and myself will be at the National Show in Warwick, PCGB will be joining TIPEC for the Thirlstane show The next show after that will be the Tayside Classic at Errol in Perthshire on the 12th of June, meet details will at Kinross Services at 08:45 Depart 09:00 (a £2 charge for this show which will be donated to charity) The final show for June will be the Moffat show on the 26th June folk’s a great show in my opinion with lots of auto jumble and 900 cars on display, meet details will be Halfords Car park at Stration, just of the Edinburgh City bypass at 08:00/ 08:30 depart.

The national show this year will be Hatton Country World near Warwick on June 5th (Sunday) we will be travelling down on the Friday or Saturday whichever suits each party. This year accommodation will need to be booked by each individual due to a change in booking policy by Innkeepers Lodge to whom we normally stay with at the Dun Cow in Dunchurch. Provisional Names to Myself or Alan Neilson for this event and this year the show is free to club members. This is a new venue for the show and I look forward to attending, the show previous was held at Gaydon Motor Museum.

July the 3rd will be the Bridge of Allan Show and we will be meeting at Stirling Services at 08:30/09:00 depart a few tickets left Guy’s and Doll’s contact Neil Fraser if you wish to attend.
July 10th will be Glamis Castle show Folk’s and meet details will be confirmed at the July meeting, again a few spaces left for this one
On August 7th 2011 The Rotary Club Of East Kilbride Kittoch will be hosting a Charity run in Aid of Yorkhill sick kid’s hospital. You and your car if taking part will be required to raise money for the charity and it is suggested that a sum of £25 or more would be appreciated for the charity. There will be a presentation high tea At Carnbooth House Hotel at the end of the run. The region is very dedicated to children’s charities and this is another chance to contribute to these great causes. For further information please visit the website

August 21st will be the Scottish Region’s annual BBQ venue etc to be confirmed, all you will need for that day folk’s is to be hungry and participate in a few games, please bring the kids as football and other games will be on the agenda after being fed!! Would be nice to see a few members on that day.
