i dont mind ground-up replicas (eg hawk stratos) but these bodykit fakery things aren't my cup of tea at all.

I don't mind reps actually and the 240Z based car is very accurate. It is also something that you & are will never afford so a decent rep is the only way we are going to get something that looks like that! I really love the 240Z & I'm pretty sure I wouldn't chop one up to make any replica. The 944 replica is less convincing in my view, I keep meaning to try & get over to them when I'm in cloggy land.
