I'm painting some underseal inside the lower part off the doors, iv cleared all the dirt and grime build up in the small cress, and hovered it up. I couldn't see any drain holes. Don't want 2 paint over or block them.

Vapour barrier replacement? Any ideas what I can use that can be sourced on a Sunday?

Thanks.

Yes there are drainage holes on the doors. Mine were completely blocked with crap from inside the doors, which combined with the lack of any plastic sheet had led to my door cards being completely rotten.

I think there are four holes - the way they are made is clever but means they are hard to spot - they're not pressed holes like you see in many cars, the edge of one of the door pressings is deformed to leave a gap on the seam between them. They're reasonably evenly spaced, and if you push the rubber seal on the bottom of the door upwards with the door open you should be able to see them. I cleaned mine out a bit using a plastic cable tie, although I also used a lot of hot soapy water to get the inside of the door spotless - as I say it was full of mud and whatever crap the last owner/moron had sprayed inside the door, presumably to lubricate the electric window mechanism. Given 20 minutes' work it now flows perfectly.

As for the door plastic sheet, see if you can get some suitably-sized rubble bags from a DIY store, they should do the trick? I bought some heavy-gauge poly sheet, and will seal it properly with double-sided tape when I get a chance (I needed to source some door cards which I have done, but they are only temporary replacements as they were cheap and not great condition, but better than my old ones which were just totally rotten).

It's ok, iv found the 3 drain holes. One side and 4 the other, There along the very bottom infront off the door seal. Just freed any underseal using a cable tie end. Quite clever, that they run out in front off the seal. I hope the build up off underseal don't create a bridge and require the water 2 build up 2 that hight b4 running out. Would require water 2 sit in there at bridge level b4 any run off.

Vapour barrier? It will need 2 come back off when I finally get round 2 the central locking. Could off got some polythine from work, but I need 2 get car back totogther today 4 work.

I'm repiring one side with fibre glass. Not to bad just try not 2 cover it 2 quickly. Use a roller, I didn't and the paper tissue style is much easyer the the large firbe stuff
