Careful Kev, most of Ferdi Porsche's rear engine expertise came when he worked at East European Tatra, them of air cooled rear engined V8 fame where another rear engined model came from, known as the poor mans Porsche

Hey don't knock Skoda's Used to have an old 120L Totaly carp. But in the snow/rain it was serious fun! Never had anything else so good at drifting at little more than walking pace  Used to get some very funny looks from the way I drove it :)

I so want to say i told you so......but i wont. Good that the S2 is kept in the family - no doubt you will go and see it regularly to ensure it is kept in top condition???

That pie keeps getting bigger :D

I hope Colin is going to re-join, now he's got a proper car again.

It's great that it's being kept in the region and I'm sure Colin will be told if he lets the standard slip.

Brilliant Mike! Well done.
Mine moved on as you might know, but it looks like a fabulous car you've got there.
Not easy to come by.

Cheers

Thanks Rich, i did take a shinging to yours when i saw you a silverstone

Why did you sell it?...........i was told that they are quite rare?

Mike

Hi Mike - yes they are rare!
Too much invested in one car though when I still have the 944T Cab and other motors ....!
Look after her and get her out on the roads for long drives regularly - those 3.2's don't take kindly to short infrequent journeys!

Cheers
rich

Don't do what an old friend of mine did years back. He bought a 944 S and didn't take any pic's. Within a week, someone had damaged the passenger door trying to break in to it, then a week after that a big van crashed into it and wrote it off. All he had was the clipping from the auto trader to remind him of the time he owned a Porsche.
