Is it possible to transfer Tipec membership to the new owner of my car? Theres over 18mths left & I'll feel a bit silly turning up in a Suzuki. Not to say sick. :pukeright:

"You don’t even have to own a Porsche to be a true Porsche enthusiast!" Quoted from the club web site.

Does this mean that you have a buyer?

Thanks Siggy. Who is Steve? I have a £500 deposit so I think the car is sold.

It is, but only if the new owner promises not to bang on about his new aquisition having more torque than a clockwork mouse :D

No guarantees on that one Sean. It's the torque that sold it. If it wasn't for super being £7.50 a gallon............Bloody government. Whats wrong with income tax! Or are all the peasants supposed to drive milk floats. Only rich people can have an engine.... Have you seen the price of a 6 litre jag. Under 2K now...

Hi JJ,

You don't need a Porsche to be in the club (although having one is nice). Dave Doherty is Yorkshire RO - drives an FTO. Me - Yorkshire ARO - VW Polo.

I'm still enthusiastic about Porsche despite not having one right now. There are certain benefits though to non-Porsche ownership. Fuel bills are cheaper, repair bills cheaper, happier wife...

I'm going to return to Porsche ownership once that mortgage is gone. 5 years and counting down....

Ben :bounce:

Cheers Ben. Car goes tomorrow. Already got the money! I will never have anything like this again. It was worth it for the noise it made. Not fast like a Subaru. But a great package. Quick enough to screw all but modern pork though. I won't forget the experience. Looking at a 4.2 litre Jag at the moment. There so cheap. Can always use the train to go to work in....
