Good idea. Might be worth someone from that part of the world dropping in and getting TIPEC registered on their website. Might bring in some additonal membership. A bit far for us though.

Ben :bounce:

For a Kentish Man anything Norff of the Thames is North & beyond Watford tis strange lands indeed, inhabited by people with flat caps, whippets & pigeons

This seems like a nice idea and a bit of fun, and hopefully gets him some business. It'll be useless for meetings though as Mobberley is as close to Manchester (was Ringway) Airport's flight path as you can get without sitting in the plane! It's only a few miles away from here, off the main road that we drive along regularly - in fact Stefany drives along it every day on the way to work. There is another pub called The Roebuck immediately opposite it.

I'll follow these instructions and see if I get on the website -

This will stand for Pub, Porsche and Pint Club and to be a member this is what you have to do. A) you need to own a porsche or borrow one or hire one regularly B) Park your porsche as seen in the photo outside the Bulls Head C) Take a photo and then email the photo to me at our email address info@thebullsheadpub.co.uk with your name and the name of the car.

I'll use my car.... after it's been washed and before it bio-degrades any more, but unfortunately I don't have a name for it as I'm not that sad.... although my beautiful wife calls it "your junking heap"

By the way, his website starts with - 'As a petrol head.......'

Click on the Goodfellas' Car Club page.
What's a 'peerless' Merecedes? Shouldn't it be pillarless? (I'd have one of those by the way).
What's a MG PA? Should be MG TA.
Is Roller 1 not actually a Bentley.
Go to the Porsche page and the Roadster is actually a Speedster, or could even be a Chesil replica.

Like I say, a nice idea, and when I send the photo in I'll politely point out the mistakes that a 'petrol head' shouldn't be making.

I think that the MG PA came before the TA. A friend of mine has just got one for restoration.

I stand corrected Simon. I didn't know that, but a quick Google and Wikipedia confirmed your thoughts.

I'd never heard of it either until my friend acquired one, tiny little thing by the looks of the photos.
