No fog lights

Post by eamon1.3 »

Both front and rear fog lights wont work on my 83 944, pulled the switch out and theres power going to it via a yellow wire when the side lights are on, makes sense, but as soon as you flick the switch to turn on the front or back fogs the power going to the switch dies. Tried to power the rear fog by jumping the pin for the back fog with the earth and even then the power going to the switch dies. Seem the feed to the switch dies as soon as theres any load on it.

Any ideas why? Typical, go to book an mot, quick check over the car and this happens :(
