Apart from moaning on forums and crying into pint pots there is nothing left to do, you are 25 years to late, Maggie saw to that, then Tony Blair double six-ed them by making Labour Tory and leaving us with 3 parties pissing in the same pot from different angles so it doesn't matter which way you vote the result is the same, public disobedience will no longer be tolerated in Britain, you will be arrested, the masses have all been brainwashed, all car transport only contributes to 0.003% of global emissions anyway and yet cars have managed to become public enemy No 1, 4x4s are out of place in towns and cities why, because they use the dimension we have plenty of, height, they are so fractionally longer and wider than their estate cousins you need a tape measure to find an inch or three, there is only 1 4x4 in the top 20 most polluting vehicles (unfortunately that is a Porsche Cayenne Turbo) but that has not stopped "the public" attacking them in the streets and accused of being planet killers all due to propaganda, please, please prove me wrong but the only way left for change is sadly in location.

Spot on Paul! They openly admit to employing people as "spin doctors" so obviously have no intention of being straight with us.They couldnt even be straight with us about reasons for going into Iraq.As we are a pretty affluent society they just keep thinking up one tax after another to take it off us but at the same time theyre still borrowing money and not putting anything aside.I ll bet by the time I retire(if ever) they ll say "er sorry sir ,afraid weve spent your pension on a monument to Tony Blair the greatest socialist leader ever"I cant wait till Hydrogen cars are perfected to see how they tax that!

all car transport only contributes to 0.003% of global emissions anyway

Where did you find the stats :?: I've been trawling the net for the real figures for an article & can't find any itemised for cars at all.
25% Burning the rain forests.
17% conbined for all transport including air.
Time to start hitting back or we'l all be driving milk floats soon
