I was told the previous pictures released were a photoshop of a Panamera to make it 2 door. This is more exciting. I hope they bring it out.

Yes Brett - but they were the photo's from last year, so it will be interesting to see what they come up with this time!! as long as it doesn't look like the Panamera.

Have not been following this development, but is this the platform that may be shared with Audi and Bentley ?

Pass on that one - but you could well be correct - ask Steve M at club night he may well know the answer..... by the way he may also know something about the picture I have just put up on the "Night Club" page. :D

The back does look like a Jag!

I heard legislation banned pop ups on new car designs ( )

Dunno if it is true or not but I can't think of any new cars that feature them!

I like the looks even if its a bit Aston DB9/Jag XK looking which are basically photo copies of each other.
Pop ups disappeared with the Esprit and Corvette C5 in 2004 I believe something about peoples knee caps but I agree with Clarkson that those people shouldn't be in the road in the first place  Thinking about it couldn't they design them to crumple like they have with the rest of modern cars do in an accident

You'd have thought they could have a safety system whereby they retract within a certain amount of milliseconds upon impact (much like how supplementary restraint systems operate - air-bags, belt pre-tensioners etc.).

I'd love to see the return of pop up lights personally!
