I'm planning a long list of jobs on the '44 but I suspect some of them will end up on the back burner due to other commitments unfortunately :(

Mine is at last booked in for the front end on the 31st. Theres a panal to replace on the drivers seat. Got to pull the clocks out again. Then it's the sunroof. Hubs to repaint. Carpet clean/replace. Back on the rollers to map the maxtronic. Wonder if I will ever get to fix the rear hatch release :)

It's a lovely part of the world up there, rain or shine. Have a great time Gary

I'm looking forward to my brief trip North later today, when I get to Tinsley Viaduct I know I'm home.

Went to work in the '44 today. Had already missed the train anyway. Rain has washed the salt off the roads for now. And the discs were going rusty & needed a good clean. Went home the scenic route. Caught up a guy from work who drives a 2 litre zetec focus. It was sad really. He was trying HARD. Went past him like he was standing still. :bounce: Clutch is fine. Discs all nice & shiney:D

Joking aside, I do have a list of upcoming tasks on my Turbo:

  • replace split driveshaft gaiter
  • replace one blown LED in dash lighting
  • get tiny oil leak sorted
  • have four-wheel geometry professionally done
  • swap spring sets in adjustable wastegate

I’m still swithering over whether or not to do the dashboard replacement, given that the new one I bought has a chip out of it.

And on my old Lux:

  • either new rear tyres or a full set of all four wheels & tyres at once
  • replace power steering fluid
  • have noisy fan looked at
  • run it in a bit to check for other problems
  • get it through an MOT
  • sell it

Excellent Blatt on the moors, the roads were pretty quiet for a Saturday..
