 Post subject: Porsche 944 Brake calipers!

Im being lazy here, but can not seem to be able to find this on the net!
What is the torque setting for the bolts that hold two sides of the caliper together?

You won't find one. The manufacturers view is that you shouldn't dismantle them so they don't publish the figures. I have SS cap screws to go back into mine & will be estimating a figure & also using Loctite.

I have used plated cap screws as the tensile strength is greater that SS, the ones that came out were zinc plate and passivated is this what porsche fit as standard?

I have only ever used high tensile steel 12.9 cap heads for this. I think but not sure they were torqued to 80NM.
