Cleaning 968 engine

Post by Tallguy »

Hi all,

Having got my 968 home finally I'm slowly working over it to give it a thorough clean in and out. One of my next tasks will be cleaning the engine area. The top of the engine is a bit grubby/grimey and has a few marks on it - can someone please suggest a suitable product to clean it with.

TIA

Hi There

Autoglym Engine Cleaner, ten out of ten for this product. The engine cleaner is water based and clears oil and grime with ease and without the paraffin smell, it’s also good for cleaning the hinges on the doors.
Cheers

Hi Tallguy,

If you're going to clean the engine itself I'd be interested to see how it turns out as my engine is looking in need of a good clean.

Thanks in advance.
