I was wondering if a coilover kit for a Mk1 Golf would be compatible with an early offset 944 - anyone with a knowledge of both know?

The only common VW part is the rear damper; shared with a 'Super Beetle'.

ok thanks - had thought that perhaps the Raceland Coilover kits for the Mk1 may have fitted the early offset 944
