My new beasty of a clutch. Better not slip with this in it! Another £500 including slave & bolts. Just 4 new CV's to finish off & the rebuilt gearbox.... Then my wife wants me to sell it.

looks great is this an uprated clutch?, I had to fit the sachs pressure plate, clutch, slave and then gearbox internals, LSD etc in my Aero to cope with the toque at a max 380bhp, 420ft/lb of torques, To be fair its never slipped since.

let me know how this gets on, as I will need to source something better when the tuning starts on the S2.

Yes. It's an uprated turbo unit. Should take the low down torque that the stock lux unit can't cope with. Not what I ordered actually. The Helix ones are not available so JMG gave me a free upgrade. Jon reckons that this one will do the trick! Need to get a new cam but Jon Miledges site is down. Think hes mid move to California.

Removed the stock clutch today & it was in pretty good condition. Lots of meat left on it. Just can't take the power!! New uprated turbo one should deal with that!! Need to pop in & tell Wayne at Chip wizards what he cost me. :D

It's in & it runs. No slip!. Cost £300 to fit. Not too bad. Went for 4 new CV's at the same time. Feels loads better. So at least we have transport again. Porsche to the rescue! :)

What did she say when she caught you taking photos of a clutch? And on the good table-cloth too.... I guess she was out shopping then

Was she jealous?

Was she interested or did she even know what it was?

At least my wife was out and didn't catch me washing my 202000 mile clutch in the kitchen sink so that I could show people without getting my hands dirty
