The 944 is a curvy design that is not shown off in a two dimensional flat image.
Far more appreciated from a persctive veiw.

Or we are all too old to get down and take a decent side shoot

The 944 is a great looking car - both Lux and S2 but they do look a bit under wheeled side on. Easy fix though - lower them a bit. Bigger wheels help fill those gaps too but TBH the 15s and 16s suit the car

I agree my S2 looks better from the back, front or angled rather than the side but does look beter with bigger wheels, hence my avatar.

Only the 944 owners think the side doesnt look so good, needing bigger wheels etc.
very obvious reason for this. The flared archs spoil the look of the car side on.

big bulbous archs makes the car look dated. and when fitted with new style cup wheels
clash badly.

These 2 reasons combined is why they dont look so good side on.



the 924 will always look better in profile because it has a purity of line - Porsche lost when they developed the car.

1986 944 Oval dash

The design is over 25 years old so I suppose its to be expected. I think they look a lot too high , almost as high as old saloon cars of the 80's

If you just make sure you buy a black porsche like me. You wont ever see a wheel well or gap

It saves you taking a hacksaw to your springs say if you bought a white one.

Theres some guys here, who have some really bad colours going on. Side on you see more of the hideous shade. Another reason.

Ive always thought that the 944 looked good from all angles except the rear where early cars like mine looked a bit unfinished with exposed spare wheel well,diff and suspension being visible so I had a slotted valence fitted and now I like it from all angles!!

Id sooner see my spare wheel and diff than one of these. But lets see your finishing slotted rear valence then? Why ddint you fit it yourself?



If the 924 Carrera GT doesnt have one. Its not worth having.

Mines going to be a Carrera GT narrow body. A One off.
