My '44s off the road waiting for me to save up enough for a clutch kit. Still waiting for the gearbox bearings as well. So the cars just standing outside getting hammered by the weather. Can't find a garage so I was thinking of a waterproof cover & some bungees to hold it in place. Anybody recommend one that will be a reasonable fit. Don't want a wind sock  Seem to come in different sizes.

Not sure if you have room, but I'm having a car port built, it's only costing a few hundred. I have never had much luck with covers, but it is Very windy where I am.

I have the one from Screwfix ( Draper with a zip for the door ) £25. It fits the 944 perfetly, but comes off if you don't lash it down too.

JJ,

I used a Peugoet 206 car cover on mine. Strange but it fitted like a glove, erm I mean a car cover, you know what I mean. It was a cheapy £30 job off eBay. I got about 5 fleecey throwovers from Ikea (about £2 each) to stop the cover scratching the paint. Worked a real treat.

Ben :bounce:

My S lives outside as it's already rusty and don't have any more room in the garage since it's got the other 944 in there and two other cars. I gave it a good clean, clay and wax and it's coping with life outside very well.

The thing that doesn't solve is the inevitable mouldy interior (not happened yet) or the cats that like to use it as a posh climbing frame.
