My discs look quite worn on the front so I am looking to replace. What is the general opinion on OEM vs others? Pagid for example.

I will be doing the occasional track day so they would have to be able to take the strain.Pads are textar and look like they were changed quite recently.I will run them for a session then change.Looking at the Pagid pads also.

Just had some info from a parts supplier who tells me that euro car parts are sourcing their own products and selling them in Pagid boxes!
TND Friction still make the pads.

Design 911 are selling discs at a reasonable price and have a package of two discs, pads and wear sensors for £149 at least for an S2 might be worth trying them

Normally buy Sebro (Porsche OEM) from Berlyn, mine were bought quite some time ago & have been fine.
Zimmerman are the other option.

Sorry that should have been my local motor factors/parts shop.

This was for the later model 944 with the 100mm deep discs as opposed to the earlier 70 something mm ones.

These are the ones...

Yup, used to be Zimmerman from Bert but now Sebro as they have painted bells & don't rust.

In that case I think I need to speak to Bert soon and get some new front discs from him.

I heard Zimmerman had patented the grey painted bell end (oo er mrs)

I got quoted :

Front £38+VAT each (Zimmermann)
Rear £53+VAT each (Zimmermann)

If thats for the 100mm painted rears they'll be the same as the ones I posted the pic of, then it might be worth shopping around because they'll be exactly the same discs,
with the VAT on you're looking at - £62 each, £12 over what I paid inc. VAT, that £24 over the pair, you could buy new pads for that!! Unless thats including delivery
