You could cut a hole and fit a telescopic air intake. Then you'll be ready for the winter flooding :(

It's really made me sick, I take so much care, I don't park under trees or any were possible danger. I clean with new cloths. And iv now got this! Also had someone revers in 2 my rear bumper marking it and cracking it, looks like there toe bar has caught the under valance as well. A car polisher from halfords head came off and dented the rear wing.

Grrrrr

Hopefully it won't be in need off that exensive repire. As iv just had a full respary, rear bumper had the rubber strip removed, and holes filled. So the crack would be less work then the 8 holes. Dent or bulg.r see what needed 4 that tonight, MIT put a sticker over it lol

t3rra,

Try calling Dent Wizards or Chip Away or similar. You'd be amazed at what dents they can remove without the need to go to a bodyshop.

I had a similar 'power bulge' on my old XR3i (stop judging me ;)) due to a garage not tightening up an engine mount properly so it rocked backwards and the lifting eye smacked against the inside of the bonnet and left a nice pronounced dent in the bonnet. They're annoying dents and hope you manage to get yours sorted soon.

It cant be cured, the car is ruined now.. you should buy a turbo :o

Seriously though I am sorry to hear it, I know how much things like that bother me with my car. Anything is fixable, it'll be a couple of hundred at the very worst. 2 tanks of fuel.

Going 2 try a dent remove, got someone coming out tmw. Few more hunderd then I got right now, and the car is wanting a new rack ;( just so pissed at myself. Wouldn't believe how carefull I am with the car. Even washed it and waxed the day b4 the mercain does any work and provide a bran new soft blanket 2 cover the fender.

Is it just me or does something happen every week 2 there's?

t3rra,

Don't take it personally. The big old dog up in the sky like to take a good dump on you occassionally.

I think the worst incident I had in 944 ownership was when some idiot gardener strimmed the grass verge in a car park at the hospital. Absolutely stone chipped the side of the 944 as there was stones in the grass verge.

If it makes you feel better the worst thing I did on my 944 was changing the windscreen wiper blades and not lifting the arm back fully, it snapped back while I was getting the second one out the box (old blade already removed) and smashed the windscreen!

I stood there for maybe a full minute thinking, I cannot believe that just happened! No windscreen cover on my insurance at the time either! Bugger!!!

Used a local dent guy. Pop it in 2 a dent then brought it back up. Lucky the paints ok, everyone was worried that it be 2 soft. It's more like a paint imperfection now. Will try and polish it up.

Looks like it's gone, which is much easyer 2 live with prob took him 20mins or do. Was a no charge if it spoiled the paint. Which it didn't, so I was happy 2 part with 35 pounds. But I had no change so just gave him 40

If I can remove rear speacks and give him accse 2 the side he will remove them 4 20 pounds
