Where the hell is the horn on a non turbo 968 1994 softtop.

It keeps going off at random times and is driving me crazy.

Isn't it on the steering wheel? Don't know the model, but that's where it is on my Porsche.

I was gonna say on the steering wheel as a joke but restrained from doing so

Surely it's got to be on the wheel though, might be that a wire has come off and is making the connection needed occasionally that would possibly explain the random horn.

Not sure on a 968 but there near the pansangers wheel arch on mine.

Not sure on a 968, but on a 944 just in front of the front passenger wheel behind the spoiler

Couldn't resist, wait until intermittent horn sounds lift bonnet and follow your ears!!

Sorry on the right front bulkhead as you look into the bonnet I believe tucked into where the N/S wing meets the front section from looking under the bonnet of a mates car.

Do you have the airbag or Club Sport steering wheel?

If it is the CS wheel, you may find that the copper spring under the wheel has been bent slightly and is catching the edge of the boss. Take the steering wheel off and see if you can see if it has been catching anywhere.
