I am new to the world of porsche too, i recently took my 944 s into EMC in Birmingham, they have a website, EMC Motorsport. What they dont know about racing porsches aint worth knowing.....Well worth a phone call!

Thanks for the additional comments :) . I've had a long day cleaning the car and getting to know it a little better (no substitute for a good wash to do this in my mind). I've already started a list of things that need doing, and will certainly look into the Magnecor leads, as suggested. The engine bay is probably going to get some attention tomorrow, but in the meantime, here are a couple of shots to show off my efforts today 8) (I remember now why I swore some time ago never to have another black car, as it's so difficult to avoid the dreaded swirlies from polishing :roll: !!)

One off ur head light looks in need off adjustment. There's a few ways 2 do this. Try a search. Looks good. What interour you got?

I think your hard work is paying off! That's a very nice car you have there.

I was told many years ago that to avoid swirls, you should always dry off/polish the car using straight lines. You should aim to mimic the flow of the air over the car. Works for me. Anyone else practice this?

Your eyes are better than mine Terry, can't see anything wrong with the headlights!

Thanks for that, I can see what you mean, as the offside one isn't quite lined up in the head on photo. I'll have to do some reading up on how to adjust this, as that's going to annoy me now :lol: :roll: !!

Had the clutch and fuel lines replaced on my old 944s at EMC, and I totally agree the certainly know the front engined fours
