When trying 2 remove the plug 4 the spark plugs, the plastic elbow has snapped away from the boot. There a small male and female bit left about 2 mm high. Press back on and the engine turns over. But I'm relocation 2 drive it. Found some brand called magnecor , are these leads are any good? Come in a few sizes. With the thicker seems 2 be cheaper. Found a place 4 the 8mm were there about £65 a set. But there's a 10 day waiting time as there made 2 order. Which would mean are be without transport 4 2 weeks at least. Is there anywhere I could get some b4 the weekend?

I burue on there, I'm guess in there original.

Also chosse Nkg cooper plugs, good choce? Heard they proform better but do wear put quicker? Were £10 from halfords so could change twice a year.

Thanks

Hi Terry

German and Swedish are about £35 + vat, you'll be able to collect next day from your local depot of they don't stock them or next day mail order service.

Might get you out of trouble and back on the road while waiting for the others to be made up, just stick the G&S one's on fleabay then although I think depending on stock they can sometimes be Beru.

£35 sounds nice. But 16v leads seem 2 be 3 times the price! Gfs 8v leads at £35 16v leads £98 b4 vat. I think they come free from the treads, breu boots unscrew from the leads, it's also broke the plastic casing. German and Sweden? Is that the company?

Lol they are gsf

Oh poo, I feel for you my E34 has stupid differences to 80% of the others that means sometimes I have to pay 2-3 times the price for bits.

Thanks, guess that's what get 4 the extra 30 ponys, that are prob no longer in the stable anyway :blackeye. Looking at a few prices list it's would seem the s2 is the most expensive 2 up keep, but they hold there money better. Them the s, then turbo 944 and pre 85 are eve cheaper! Exspecaily things like brakes.

I just can't understand y? The leads and boots should be the same stuff in a similar length. Any one made there own?

Leads for S & S2 very different. If you just want one try the breakers but if there brittle you should get a new set. It will probably run better. Ring up JMG & see if they can do a deal. They are pledged to beat euro car parts so could well be cheaper.

All changed, king lead end snapped off in the dissy cap. Got that out with a screw.

Deff an improvement off Idel, can pull away with the clutch now without 1500revs and it reverse much smoother now

Sorry I meant leads for 8v very different to S/S2. Thats what I thought but not what I wrote. Still JMG would have confirmed that if they'd had a chance & would have been cheaper! All you do is ring euro for a price then call JMG to get it beaten. Free postage as well. Simples.
