Did they give you break down of parts, as I said earlier you dont need the motors, you may be able to do it for under £280 as motors list at £75 each

yes and have got a good price of 361 all in from the porsche center bournmouth, i reckon thats ok, that includes all of it the complete kit,

I am pretty sure those mirrors will come in primer...so add on the cost of having them sprayed....

Also most people say that the flag mirrors have much better visibility....

yes your right the flags are bigger, they just look 80s that the only problem, thanks for the advice though

To me that's the cars appeal just like the 24/44. I sometimes think that modernising these classic Porsche's is like vandalism. Each to their own though.

Reviving this thread after stumbling across it....

I have a set of cup mirrors in the garage which have base part numbers of 927 731 242 00 and 927 731 241 00 - I understand these are from a 92-95 RHD 928.

Eventually I will be getting round to buying new bases to fit to my 944 but I was just wondering if there was a big difference between 944 and 928 bases? I know that 911 bases are different but often you see sellers lumping 928/944/968 together for these parts.
