Looks like I may be able 2 purscash some boxster brakes, 4 the same price 2 change my front discs and pads. I understand a bracket is needed. These are sold at the Porsche shop. The upgrade in disc size is 284-318 and from 2 pot -4 pot

From what I understand boxster brakes can be fitted with propose built adpaters. Not so sure they take the S range. However the disc prices seem 2 be similar if not cheaper then 944 S.

Also watch the size of calipers as they may not fit inside your wheels, I know yours are 18s so shouldn't be a problem

I understand 2 change 2 4pot turbo or s2 brakes you need 2 change hubs? Would it be possible 2 change hubs with a boxster or later modle? Would u be able 2 run the front arms? Or whatever else is nessery 2 ensure longlivety with 18" wheels?

Are boxster callpers steel or alley?

when i was upgrading my 924, i used 924S front hubs the adaptor brackets from porscheshop and 4 pot calipers from a 996, which are the same as fitted to the boxster S.

as i was keeping the 15" wheels the 996 front caliper would not fit inside the wheel (fractionally to large) , if you have 16" wheels they will fit .
other 15" wheels might take the front calipers it may just be the inside shape of the 924 turbo wheels i used.

so i used the 996 rears on the front of the 924 and the difference in braking is great, they were a big improvement over the standard calipers, and look cool through the wheels.

So rears are will work on front and front on rears? If nessery. Were the rears smaller then the front s? Or same. Do you have the part number, as I found that both s and non s start 996.

Thanks, so the Porsche shop brackets will work 4 s as well as n/a boxster. How did u find the brackets 4 the money? Is it something that could easily be made up?
