Just a quick note on the first Lincolnshire meet, Only two of us turned up but what can I say couple of hours of good conversation covering all things pork with a top bloke in a top venue with good beer and decent food.

Hope more people come to the next one!

cheers
Simon F

Well lets make it three's a crowd tomorrow.
As a member of Tipec for 6 years I have attended a few SYND, now SYNN meetings because they are a very friendly crowd, have a longstanding active membership support (probably due to the concentration of members around Doncaster) and arrange excellent days out. eg Morgan and Ginetta Factory visits which involve a good long drive, this combination really appeals to me as my preference is for driving the car rather than attending meetings. It's especially appealing being part of a dozen + Porsche Convoy followed by enlightening banter during the days activities.
See you at the Dovecote (2nd Sunday from 1:30pm)
Clive

Thanks for that Lee your dead right! its a pity that I read my latest All Torque Magazine (Issue 83 August 2010 p29 which does say "Joint meetings --- on the second Sunday of every month from 1:30 at the Dovecote---"
Ah well there's always next Month, perhaps not, family holiday in caravan!
Guess I'll just give it a wax & go for a drive, fill up & enjoy the sunshine (while it lasts).
cheers.

Just glad you didn't waste your petrol. I'm sure Gordon will sort the AT think out. I hope to come to one of these meetings at some point, I worked in Hull for most of 2008 and have many friends down there. I'll kill 2 birds with one stone. There used to be quite a few petrol heads at the Reckitt's factory. I went out for a chinese meal with friends one night and ended up sitting next to 2 jags Prescott.

Yeah,if they cant turn up to their own meetings how can they expect to promote the club? But we found a dog show with a dragon called George on display and yours truly got some size 13 walking boots at half price,so not a wasted trip.Just disappointing that the organisers didnt make an appearance. :o  :?
