Just back from holiday to the best ever present. A few pictures as promised. The car is in need of a good clean and polish, but not a complete disaster. There is an extensive list of items needing done on the car, but belts and fluids were all done within the last 12 months. I need to trawl the extensive history to find out when the water pump was done, but all seems in order at the moment.

Thanks guys, I can't believe it is here. The seller was a gentleman and called me yesterday to let me know the 6 months tax on the way. This will take me to Christmas before I need to tax it. :D I've been looking through the extensive folder of bills and the car has been well looked after, however there are a few outstanding issues. Every rose has its thorns.

Yes you're right.... my previous mother-in-law was called Rose

Nice car Lee, really nice colour. I always wanted one ever since I saw one for the first time in 1979. It was driving round Goch - I was in the RAF in Germany at RAF Laarbruch at the time. Just thought it was such a fantastic looking car.

You never know, if petrol ever becomes reasonably priced again....

Thanks John. The 928 does look special to me too. I always wanted one, and I couldn't resist when I saw this one. Driving it is amazing, and as you say I'm now £50 lighter on petrol and the guage has never got much above a quarter of a tank. But it has a limited mileage insurance policy, so I will have to choose my trips wisely.

Hi Lee :)

A couple of years ago when petrol peaked for some weird reason...I was driving on fumes and had to fill mine to the brim for a business trip ..

It cost OVER £100 !!!!!

But worth every penny :)

All the best Brett :)
