Confused here when you do a search it only lists early 944s up to 84. Yet the price list covers the 944/968 which will be the later cars.Umm maybe I need to ring them to find out.

Recently advised by my Indy that my fronts need replacing soonish, so I would also be interested. Im a bit concered however that the pdf only lists one serial number for the 944, whereas the majority of other stockists suggest that the left and right are different and also that you cannot simply replace the insert but require the whole strut assembly, which seems to come in at around £120-150 each (for the 'S').

Hi Guys

They seem to do one strut that fits the front of a 944. They were a fair bit shorter than my M030 ones that came off and do not have any brackets for brake pipes/ABS sensors/brake cooling ducts to fasten to.

That's the bad stuff. The good stuff is that they fit no problem and dramatically reduce up and down suspension travel. When my car if lifted off the ground now the wheel drops about 3 inches. Previously it dropped about 10 inches!

We ended up cutting the brake pipe brackets and ABS sensor holders from the old struts and Alasdair fabricated some brackets to do the job. Pictures are all on the old thread.

Performance is great with masses of adjustability as I have already said.

Um, I'm a bit baffled by the site as well, I'd assumed it was a Gold kit I was pretty much looking for, or maybe the GHA as the car is mostly road going! I'll ring and try to figure it all out....

Stuart, do you have a product code on your invoice from Gaz?

I enquired with Gaz for a Turbo car and they came back with the following response:

'We only make the GGA kit for your car & this has adjustable ride height & adjustable bump & rebound damping, this is adjusted at the same time from a single control on a fixed ratio.'

Stuart, does this appear to be the kit you purchased?

Yep. They say Gaz Gold on them. Guessing GGA means Gaz Gold Adjustable?

I noticed Gaz have an "outlet" on ebay. Gold sets are £850 delivered against an RRP (they say) at £934.

I received an e-mail from GAZ today. They've agreed as posted earlier, just have to agree the way to administer the discount. I've e-mailed TIPEC and waiting for suggestions. Below is what gaz have agreed for TIPEC members.

Prices are plus VAT but they have also agreed to apply the same discount to other products such as inserts as mentioned.

Discount's in place, just quote your TIPEC number. Ask for Dave or Mark. Discount is before VAT. I'd be interested to know how many of you guys take it up for future negotiations.

Stuart, what spring rates are your GGA units? Gaz are recommending 500 lbs on the front and 275 on the rear. Anyone have any experience of whether this is hard?

Just plucking up the courage to invest at the moment...
