Fortunately not me - I'm up in the North West. My sons go near the car on pain of torture!

Cheers,

It looks worth the effort J.J. I just hope that mine will look as good one day.

That looks great, nice and clean. I do like that colour. All original wheels too. I hope you enjoy it.

Cheers Guys. The colour is really nice, unusual to see on series 1 944 even if it is a 2.7. The entirely burgundy interior really sets the blue off though.

Love the reversed pop up lights on the 968 it's such an unusual design that Porsche did. Very clean interior, is that an extra clock upgrade you had fitted below the radio aswell as the digital one in the dash?

Hi Andy,

The clock is standard and the digital display on the dash is the outside temperature gauge.

I had the front seats and centre console re-connollised which is why they look so good and if you check this
link you'll see how the seats used to look

http://www.flickr.com/photos/driveandsh ... 323670566/

other than that the interior is original, even the mats.

All the best,

Ian

Photos are damn handy for answering questions :D

JJ, just noticed there's no pipe from the left hand side of your airbox down to the belt cover, all the other pics I've come across have the pipe still fitted. I changed my belt covers on my overhaul due to the old belts eating into the back section of the cover and baffled to a. why there is a pipe fitted in the 1st place, obviously a good reason for it, and b. my belt covers are only vented on the front half not the back, does it make any difference with the pipe not being fitted, it's on at the moment but can't see any huge advantage to it being on.

I found bits of the old broken balance belt teeth in my airbox, totally baffled to how they got in there until I was putting the car back together and noticed the pipe. Initial thought was how the hell did they fly out the cover and up under the wing into the air intake  The pipe made sense of that problem.
