Hello im Mark from wales ,just signd up after nearly 3 years of owning an S2 .Never new there was a forum with what looks like mostly UK owners .Always been on the American Pelican forum!

Anyway i have a couple of qustions to ask

1 Whats the best way to go with front sealed Sachs stuts? {without a remorgage!!}

2 Front pully Seals started to P**s out oil ,whats it like to change ?do the belts have to come off and wheres the crankcase breahter so i can check its not blocked

I should imagine the crankcase breather has a filter somewhere and the fumes are then fed back into the intake to be burnt off . If your crankcase is over-pressured I would expect to see a lot of oil around your filla cap and the dipstick area where it gets forced out.
Might be worth doing a compression check to make sure your rings are ok

Hello, :wave: So were are the pics???????

Try all the usual supplier for the struts. JMG, GSF, Lindsey racing ect. Thread on here re Spax.

Front seals not too bad but you need to replace belts & check the rollers while there off. Use big sockets as a drift. Be careful not to damage the crank seal with the teeth on the oil pump drive. Either tape them up or remove the dog & put seal on from behind. :scratch: if that make sense! Belts bit tricky if you've not done them before & the tensions crucial. Get it wrong & it's time for a new engine. I let my mate do that bit as he does them all the time & if he gets it wrong he pays for the new engine :D
