Hi All :)

Has anyone got a working sunroof switch for sale ??

No idea why but I go through these things like a dose of salts :(

I dont need the whole harness, 6 inches of the cable attached to the switch would be fine if anyone has one ?

All the best Brett :)

You can still get these from Porsche for about £35. Well, you could when I bought one in November.

What, the switch actually failed after only one year? Blimey, I'd take it back to the dealer for £35.

As bad as the automatic choke I had on a Mark 2 XJ6. I did manage to get a free one eventually. They usually went after 13 months....

Hi :)

Welllll I would take it back but I have had so many sunroof and window switches go that I cut the wires to save removing the centre console, and I doubt they would swap it with half the harness missing even though its the switch itself thats mechanically failed...

All the best Brett :)

Ever taken one apart to see what dies? It may just need cleaning with a dab of switch cleaner?

Hi :)

Yes but taking them apart almost destroys the little plastic clips that hold them together...they never survive lollll

All the best Brett :)

I'm sure Porsche spares have a 2 year warranty.
