That damned Cat!

now one of them has gone missing,no sign since wednesday ! been out tonight posting 80 flyers thro' doors asking people to check garages, sheds etc, wifey's phoned police, council, cat shelter, local vets etc also put ads in local shops, and the kids school even put a note in todays newsletter

just got back from another 2 hrs trudging around knocking doors in the rain, still no sign and nobody has seen him

still no sign of him, kids still a little upset, spent most of sunday cycling along nearby canal asking boat dwellers and checking hedges, fearing worst now as foxes have been spotted recently

Doesn't sound good, always leaves you wondering where he is & if he's OK.

Unlikely for foxes to have a cat unless the cats injured, cats are very aggressive when cornered even young ones & foxes will go for easier prey. Only cat I had that was in any way involved with a fox we suspect had got injured from maybe a car accident.

well i'm afraid its a sad end to this thread, found cat dead under neighbours sons crashed car 5 doors away, says it wasn't there this yesterday as he was working on it and the body wasn,t too stiff and no obvious sign of injury apart from a little blood around his mouth, on the plus side he was clean and looked well fed
