Hello

I have recently bought a 1983 944 auto and it has started to make a knocking noise from the back left when i turn left under load the noise then goes I am no mechanic and could do with a help?

Can any body point me in the right direction before I go to a garage and pay a fortune.

CV joint around 50 quid & a couple of hours to change, you also need new bolts which are 24 x 2 quid each & a pot of CV grease. A filthy dirty jib but not difficult. Normally worth stripping,cleaning & repacking the rest while they are in bits.
