THe time has come to move on and sell the 993, for those who dont know the car it is on the front Page of AT this month and has won the Best in Show competition for the last 2 years. I dont know what to say, it is about as perfect as a 993 can get (mechanically and body etc), unless you happen to find one out the box !!

I will post a link to Pistonhaeads classifieds soon.... but I am looking for circa £24k. Is the price more than the average 993 ...then yes it is, but it reflects the standard of this car. Mind you I think whoever buys it is going to end up with a stunning car and who knows maybe it will be back to retain its crown next year. It wont be me in it though!!

If anyone wants more info, as there is just too much to list here then pm me or ring me (my number is on page 3 of AT)

Maybe it won't be able to retain it's crown. Someone might drive it and get dirt on it

Well done Clive. Didn't think it would take long to sell.

Stiff upper lip when it drives away. :(

Wow, that was fast.

Is the new owner under oath to display it on the Meguiars stand at the NEC?

Its gone, driven away...it didnt even have the decency to break down in tears at the end of the road !!

Oddly enough its the first time I have ever heard my car being driven whilst I am not in it. I have to say those RSR exhausts were meaty.

I could do no more with it and its gone to a good home up in Leicestershire. I am sure it will send a postcard every now and then...

So as I said before, now for something completely different. Quite fancy one of those TVR things you know.... it could make a nice change?

I hope you sold a 2-year TIPEC membership too. Maybe we'll see it at Markfield?
