Here's some pics of the old girl up in Pittenweem, Fife, Scotland on the 23/05/2010. Must admit shes looking good! Couple of things still to do which are installing the new cassette box and new heat pads under the bonnet. Light at the end of the tunnel!

Looks good, always good when you get down to just 2 or 3 things on the "To do" list.

Yeh it's certainly taken its time, but it has been worth it. I used the new Autoglym High Defenition Cleanser and Wax on the old girl and having used various products before, I'm very happy with the result!

Great results and glad you found the Autoglym high definition products good because I just picked some up at Bristol classic show few weeks ago. Will give them a go when mine returns from JMG after it's little fueling issue is sorted

Thanks mate, when I bought her back in January she had been lying out in the open air for a long time and required a complete respray. Furthermore the previous owner had stuck a supercharged badge on the back, why I don't know. Anyway following the respray, rewiring and quite a few hours of mechanical surgery I can now say shes looking graceful again. Two more jobs to go, fit replacement cassette box when it arrives and replace the heat pads under the bonnet. Long journey but it's been worth it! Its a great car to drive and with the weather getting better, lots of weekend drives out!
