Looks great mate - I need the front end of my car doing. But am worried about the cost.

I have relegated myself to think that my car will be the first 'rat look' 944 turbo. I just need a roof rack and some old tat to put up there. :P

I wonder if we could interest a bodyshop in a 'group respray' at a knock down price?

Should be £500 tops with a full strip down & painting everything separately. (Include bonnet & the wings.) May get it for less as many places aren't that busy at the moment. Only trouble is once done you may decide you need to do the rest of the car.

hi ben i dont have off street park, prob have the worse road 4 parking as jim may know.

just one word off warning, the front spliter hits the floor now and then mainy come out of badly made petrol staions or car parks, wasnt much of a problem b4 respary. ran it 4 2 weeks. but now it casuing the new paint 2 spilt. could be were my bumper had been resparyed and i think they just painted over the exsiting paint rathe rthen taking it right back. this could be more the problem. just a heads up

Looks great and would look even better dropped 30mm all round...although that will probably kill the front splitter

Hi t3rra,

When I eventually get round to getting the front splitter sprayed and fitted, I'm not going to have the splitter filled so it is one unit with the front air dam/bumper. This means if I need to take it off for maintenance, I don't end up effectively having to remove the entire front bumper. Does that make sense? Thanks for the heads up about the catching the splitter on the road.

Ben :bounce:

Yes, I understand what your saying, still blend the ends of the bumper and splitter 2 the same line. The paint spliting is half way up the bumper wheel side.

Yes lowering the car if something Iv been thinking but I would put stiffer springs and new poly bushes alround. Deff look high in the back, with the wheel archs filled I hope it don't rub. Would stiffer surppension increase acclration speed? As u wouldn't lose froce from squatting ?
